Bus Routes Update!!!!
Freshman Physical Science classes reviewed periodic table group names, electrons, and charges by making a colored flip-chart this week. These students will carry this on to ionic and covalent bonding later this week.
Family and Consumer Science and Food Safety and Nutrition students passed the ServSafe Food Handler course and exam and are nationally certified for three years. ServSafe Food Handler is a comprehensive course that delivers consistent food safety training in the areas of basic food safety, personal hygiene, cross-contamination and allergens, time and temperature, and cleaning and sanitation. The course and exam are developed by the National Restaurant Association and measure knowledge of food safety principles and concepts. The ServSafe Certification is recognized and accepted nationwide. There were a total of 34 FCS students who received this certification.

Update on Details for Basketball Homecoming!
The basketball coaches, student-athletes, and athletic department at RBSD would like to thank everyone that made a contribution to the American Cancer Society Fundraiser last night – HOOPS FOR HOPE! They join coaches nationwide in raising funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society and their efforts to end cancer as we know it for everyone.
At the ballgame we raised $650 during the ‘pass the bucket challenge’ and then Rose Bud Schools would like to donate an additional $800. Our grand total to send to the American Cancer Society is $1,450!

The American Cancer Society does so much for cancer patients and their families through direct patient support in prevention, screening, lodging, transportation, navigation, survivorship & education.

We are excited to be back at school tomorrow & have a great semester with our Ramblers!!
Due to the winter weather advisory and potential for freezing rain, there will be no school for Rose Bud Schools on Monday, January 22nd.
The current forecast shows the potential for freezing rain to begin as buses start their routes and continuing throughout the morning.
We would rather make the decision now rather than putting the safety of our students, staff, and families at risk.

Updated Rambler Basketball Schedule!

I have received notification from Mountain Top Water that the water will be shut off through the weekend.
Due to the water outage, unfortunately we must cancel school Friday, January 19th. All school activities must be canceled as well.
Basketball games and Homecoming Activities will be rescheduled at a later date. As soon as Friday and Saturdays games have been rescheduled, we will notify everyone.
I apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused.
