Students in 3-12 grade have a choice at lunch time. However, the second choice is offered in limited quantities.
Menus are subject to change due to inclement weather, delivery shortages, and at the discretion of the Food Service Director.
Meal prices are as follows:
All reduced students will receive free meals for the 2019-2020 school year.
Students that bring their lunch may purchase a milk for $0.40.

This form is required when a student is new to the district or there is a change in income or household. Please feel free to print a copy, fill it out and either bring it to the administration office or mail it to Rose Bud School, Attn: Melissa Crews, 124 School Rd Rose Bud, AR 72137.

To enhance the district’s efforts to improve health of our students, a district Health and Wellness Committee is formed. Members of the 17-18 committee can be found here. During the board meeting held Feb 27, 2017, the current Wellness Policy (5.29) was approved. This can be found in the State Required Information section on the website.
The committee assess the district and schools’ progress toward meeting the Wellness Policy goals using the The School Health Index (SHI) from Centers for Disease Control. Here are the results from the SHI for Rose Bud Elementary (school years 17-18, 16-17, and 15-16.) Here are the results from the SHI for Rose Bud High School (school years 17-18, 16-17, and 15-16.) The committee meets quarterly to provide written recommendation to the District’s Child Nutrition Director concerning menus and other foods sold in the school cafeteria.
Dates of the meetings are the Monday following the end of each nine weeks in the school year; for the 17-18 school year, the dates are Oct 16, Jan 8, March 26, and May 21.
